Welcome!
Winter is lovely out here
in the Ohio countryside. We have lots of
snow and are expecting more, but our
riding students are hardy as ever! Most
are making it out to the barn for their
weekly lesson. The horses need the
exercise so keep on coming!
It seems odd to talk
about summer camp with all this snow,
but many parents are already putting
their summer schedules together. We're
taking registrations for Bookmark Farms Horse
Lover's Day Camp which opens June 14 and runs
weekly all summer.
This will be our 10th
year of camp at Bookmark Farms: it is
program I developed over 20 years ago at
other locations and equestrian centers.
I've seen literally thousands of kids
come through this program. For some, our
camp is the beginning of a long
association with riding and training.
For others, it is a one-time experience
that provides summer camp memories for a
lifetime.
Our campers ride every
day, create trusting friendships with
our camp horses and ponies, learn
something new everyday and have a lot of fun, all
while getting fresh air and sunshine in
a country setting! What's not to love?
If you're sure you are
attending camp this summer, we have
early discounts for registering before
March 1, 2010. We also have discounts
for signing up for more than one week of
camp and family discounts. Call us for
details.

I want to extend my
personal congratulations to our
Instructor and Equestrian Team Coach
Jenn Hunkins on the arrival of her baby
June. The baby is beautiful and we're
all looking forward to her first visit
to Bookmark Farms.
Big thanks to Instructors
Barb Klatt and Julie Walters for filling
in for Jenn while she takes some much
needed rest and baby-bonding time.
Please take some time to
read about our stable and services here
on our website. Thanks for visiting.
