Dec. 27-29, 2011
It may be cold outside, but riding and
other activities will keep you going!
Campers will work with horses and ponies
every day helping to get ready to ride.
When the horses are tacked, everyone
heads to the indoor arena for their
group and private instruction. Other
activities include games, worksheets and
videos that teach you about horses. Stay
active during your school break and join
others at the stable!
Camp is for kids 6 and up. No
experience necessary.
You must wear boots or shoes with a
half-inch hard heel for riding. Pants
should be close fitting. Dress in
layers. Bring your lunch, snacks, and
water bottles. Vending machines are
available on site for snacks and pop.
Parents are welcome to observe the
riding portion of the camp day on Dec.
29. Check with your child about what
time of day he or she rides. Cameras are
welcome and our Observation Room is
heated!
Camp hours are 10 am to 3 pm.
Sitting services are available for
$5.00/half-hour.
Campers should be dropped off and picked
up at the Gray Barn Office
Tuition is $230.
